Facilitates birth, euphoric.

I used this during the birth of my daughter. Everything had stopped – a few drops in the bath and a long soak and we were back in business!

YOU HAVE YOUR BABY

Your baby’s skin can be nourished from the moment it is born. You should not use aromatherapy oils on your baby until it is 24 hours old. So to clean your baby when it is first born use Baby’s First Oil, a blend of Evening Primrose, Jojoba and Wheat germ.

FOR YOU

To ease any soreness and promote healing use a few drops of Lavender and Tea Tree oil in the bath, these oils have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.

For a treat use After Baby Pick Up massage and bath oil, a mix of Grapefruit and Bergamot in Sweet Almond oil. Promotes an uplifting and zesty feeling leaving you feeling refreshed and ready to sort out that next nappy!

FEEDING YOUR BABY

Breast Feeding is, if you chose to do it wonderful, however even for those that enjoy it, you may at some point suffer from cracked nipples and yes it can hurt, but a blend of Sweet Almond, Wheat germ and Calendula oil really does heal, apply after each feed, ensure that you wipe your nipples just before your baby feeds.

Yes, I can definitely say it works, it meant that I was able to get over those first few weeks and carry on feeding my daughter for almost a year!

FOR YOUR BABY

Nappy rash is not nice for you or your baby and there is a time when no matter what you do it still happens. Oils to try include a mix of Lavender and Chamomile in Calendula and Grapeseed oil – Nappy Rash Blend or you could try using Calendula oil only. I would also recommend Nappy Change cream, which contains Calendula oil by Weleda.

IN CONCLUSION

For those of you that have never used aromatherapy oils and products I hope this article has wet your appetite and left you with an interest to try them – I believe you will be pleasantly surprised. To those of you who have used and are using them perhaps I have given you some new ideas of what to use and when.
