We bought this for a 4 and 2 yr old. Who love it. The tent is light and easily assembled. The cotton material should wash easily, though haven't had cause to yet. The ground sheet looks like it will gives some protection from damp, but not wet ground.(haven't had it outside yet though, bought it in January) Only gripe are, and they are small one;, the poles are covered in a felt/velvet like material. Which would have been better off being in cotton like the tent fabric, or just painted, I fear that it will start to look shabby quicker than the rest of the tent. Also I would recommend buying some tent pegs for outside use to help pin down the sides, as the ground sheet does not have enough ties to tie it down to the tent sides,. and thereby stretching it out fully. Overall, I would recommend this product,
