All these dryers are made here in the UK, the cast ends and pulleys all have a 5 year guarantee and any defect part will be replaced by the manufacturer. Components are powder coated which is as tough as enamel. This means the coating not only looks great but is also guaranteed not to rust.

The manufacturers use wooden laths that have been specially produced in collaboration with their wood supplier, over several years, specifically for our clothes airers. They have developed a special kiln dried technique which removes all the moisture from the red wood pine laths guaranteeing them not to release the tree sap or stains onto your clothes. The wood is deliberately not treated with anything as if it is it can sometimes stain the clothes.

We suggest you keep the laths as we send them to you and they will provide many years of service for your airer. Our wooden laths come from well managed sustainable redwood pine forests who employ the principle of every tree which is cut down at least one new one is grown to replace it. The Manufacturer is an FSC certified company and our certificate number is showing in the logo above. Our laths are supported by the Forests forever scheme and are approved by the FSC Trademarks who believe in well managed forests.

We supply high quality organic cotton lined, lifelong nylon rope which is much more durable than traditional jute rope. In fact it is so strong that it is used on boats and yachts. This means that even if you load your clothes airer up to the maximum weight you can have complete confidence that the rope will not break. We also give you the option of 15 meter rope if you have a high or sloping ceiling and need extra length.

Special Pulleys - for Moving House

The components in our airers are unique to us. Unlike other pulleys, these are specifically designed for strength and durability. Lower quality imitations quite often snap during installation. Our pulleys conform to NICEIC building regulation guidelines, and have longer screw rods to clear ceiling insulation commonly found in new homes.

We 100% guarantee our tough steel "detachable” screw threads will NOT break. Our pulleys are highly adaptable, we are the only company that supplies pulleys with detachable screw threads, therefore, it is only Kitchen Maid® airers that can be easily relocated into a new position.

If you move house or relocate your airer we will simply send you replacement screw rods to allow you to reinstall your clothes airer, you will not need to purchase new pulleys and we will do all this for FREE (You must have purchased the dryier from us - ie you have our invoice or despatch number)
